[Mission]
Due to the trend of Taiwan’s financial industry in overseas expansion and international financial business development, Taiwan’s financial institutions and enterprises urgently need comprehensive financial and economic talents with international outlook, who are familiar with various financial instruments, information technology, and financial and economic law. Our mission is to utilize abundant resources of alumni and affiliated enterprises to cultivate professionals with contemporary financial knowledge and skills under the principle of both theory and practice.
[Teaching Objectives]
With financial internationalization and liberalization trends, the Department intends to combine information technology in financial applications, so that students also have the financial expertise and practical financial ability to foster both theory and practice of finance at the senior professionals.
[Features]
First, the curriculum design emphasises on theory and practice, to strengthen investment and hedging financial products, international financial management and other core areas of expertise of curriculum design, The implementation of two-year college simulated trading of financial products to implement. The Department of Curriculum and teaching materials are developed with the characteristics of the Department of Planning.The junior college and night two-year junior college focus on basic training courses; two-year techniques of course design with the existing specialist with the Ministry of Basic Course articulation, curriculum planning with special emphasis on advanced and practical.
Second, the combination of information technology in teaching, application of this system through the "development of key characteristics of the school" project grant program, the financial information to build the laboratory, with the "big rich real-time information system", "virtual exchange", "a variety of financial information software ", such as Finance, financial CAD standard model calculation, to choose investment analysis system. Through a network link, the students and faculty can receive real-time financial information synchronization, simulation and analysis of stocks, bonds, foreign exchange other items of investment and hedging financial instruments in order to breed financial products with practical experience of operating personnel.
Third, strengthen the banking, securities, bills, insurers enter into cooperative education program, active cooperation institution to recruit professional managers teach practical courses offered in this department, such as fund management, personal finance, financial information systems, investment banking management, mergers and acquisitions and other courses to provide students with a wealth of practical experience
Fourth, with the "professional credential system" of the trends, future plans to introduce financial license model test system, the curriculum will be designed to strengthen the ability of students to the examination, and counseling to encourage students to acquire securities, banking, insurance and other professional licenses.

Junior College:
The education goals of the junior college are to cultivate personnel for Taiwanese financial institutions and financial personnel for Taiwanese enterprises, preparing them with professional financial knowledge, practical skills, and finance and business ethics.
College:
The education goals of the college are to train professionals for international financial institutions and financial managers for international enterprises, preparing them with professional financial knowledge, practical skills, international outlooks, foreign language skills, and finance and business ethics.
Master’s Program:
The education goals of the master’s program are to train senior personnel for international financial institutions and senior financial managers for international enterprises, preparing them with professional financial knowledge, practical skills, financial market research skills, international outlook, foreign language skills, and finance and business ethics.
